Leading specialty cheese manufacturer, Ferraro Dairy Foods, has invested in Saccardo’s flagship AS38-1500 automatic vacuum packing system as part of a major automation upgrade at their Tullamarine plant. The AS38 will be used to pack Euro block mozzarella at rates of more than 10 packs/minute, relacing labour-intensive swing lid machines and greatly increasing production efficiency at reduced cost.
